To be honest, the idea of dividing the final part of the adaptation of the story of the adventures of Harry Potter, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, into two parts is purely commercial reasons rather than to capture the sheer essence of the story from his novel. This is, unfortunately, very proven with what is given by Director David Yates by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1. The film itself is going pretty well, but with a duration as long as 146 minutes, Yates too much fill the first part of this story with the various details that really isn't needed in the story, which makes ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 feels as a film with an actual short story but have proven so long to meet the quota serving time.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows
His own story begins exactly where Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince (2009) ended, where Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe), who is still in a State of mourning as a result of the death of his friend and teacher, Albus Dumbledore (Michael Gambon), is in the care of his friends to prevent materialize the dream Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) and gerombolannya who intend to kill Harry Potter. The power of Voldemort himself is told has become such a terror with the power that not only encompass those who know the magical world, but also able to penetrate the world started to muggle (ordinary man), even has taken heavy casualties. Influence of Voldemort's own currently has strong enough so that it is capable of entering into governmental positions in the world of magic.

There is only one way to be able to facilitate their efforts against Lord Voldemort to be able to destroy the antagonist, i.e. with a devastating five horcrux (pieces of Voldemort's soul), which are scattered in various corners of the region. The story of Harry's efforts, along with two of her best friend, Hermione Granger (Emma Watson) and Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint), to find pieces of a horcrux and destroy it is coloring travel stories ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1. Of course, among those there are some parts of the story that is intended to explore the personal side of each character that is increasingly making the story of the adventures of Harry Potter is getting crowded, dark and more complicated if compared to the previous series.

The biggest problem of ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 lies in the inability of David Yates to maintain the intensity of suspense in the plot of this film. Maybe it's not going to be a big deal if ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 was much shorter than min, 146 Tetsuwan yet with the duration provided, Yates seemed too much playing with the emotions of the audience by presenting the intensity shown by one moment – in the audience will be exposed to scenes that can spur the adrenaline to later confronted at various scenes with the intensity of a flat, inclined and tiring in portions over a longer time duration.

This actually is not a new problem for the film franchise has nearly a decade old. Along with the main actors age added, the story of the adventures of Harry Potter is indeed getting away from a previous movie popcorn pattern can be felt on the Harry Potter and the sorcerer's Stone (2001). The complexity of the souls of the characters of this story are reflected clearly through the complexities of an increasingly complicated plot throughout each series. Coupled with the visual system and the terpolesnya other technical in this franchise, the story of the adventures of Harry Potter grow into a franchise that seemed to take a little distance from the audience who did not lay the novel connoisseurs of this film. Reasonable if some critics quipped that the longer, the more Harry Potter series feels as an art movie rather than as a film that became a part of the franchise is able to invite and attract the attention of the audience in General.

David Yates, in particular, to take a part of the process of "pendewasaan" Harry Potter story visually. Since sitting on the Chair directed Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Yates seemed to know that a lot of fans of the novel that wants to keep any part of the novel is also part of the film version. Unfortunately, Yates seemed to lack an understanding of how to be pleasing the fans of Harry Potter novel version without leaving the audience with the laity who had been hoping that this franchise is a series that can be entertaining. As a result, the problem of the ups and downs of intensity plot tension into an abyss that cannot be circumvented in any work of Yates, and in ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 is precisely the taste – especially in the middle of the film.

Outside the story less intensity problem can be maintained properly, ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 is a film that is very satisfying. When this film offers a variety of high-voltage ' scene, ' ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 actually being a film that was amazing. Various scenes of the drama that was featured surprisingly positive impact on the development of each character that is in the way the story – in particular the three main characters in this film. Passing ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1, soul and thought Harry, Hermione and Ron are getting deeper tergali, particularly Ron Weasley in this series seems to get a more specific portion to show the characters komikalnya.

Duration of runtime 146 minutes does not mean any character can be accommodated as well. In fact it is unfortunate to see Ralph Fiennes, Alan Rickman and Helena Bonham Carter – who has a role with a very interesting character – just shown in servings that insufficient. However it is very understandable that ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 is sort of an appetizer for the both of them depicted would be part of the final story with depictions of the epic and majestic.

Continuing his work that has been undertaken since Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, David Yates produces ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 the beginning of an end of the Harry Potter franchise. It is unfortunate if Yates seemed to still have not learned a lot from my mistakes about management intensity plot from two previous series had he point. The problem that arises from the …The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 coming off too this story in the berbelit-belitnya script showing the story of the adventures of the three main characters. A variety of details that don't seem too important to make some parts of the film's intensity feels very slow walk, with some parts of other contradictory generated by quick flow is stressful. As an ' appetizer ' for the arrival of a road story end majestic, ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 is an achievement that was satisfactory. However, if viewed as a single film, ...The Deathly Hallows – Part 1 are still at levels where it was like throwing a variety of his potential to become a quality film.
